Been watching Feng Zhu's tutorials these past few days, and how Jeff Simpson works on Muddy Colors so I thought I would give it a shot.
Dropping photo textures is something I'm going to need to practice if I go that route.

Took my favorite design, fixed the legs and some of the other details, and did some color studies.

Picked out 5 favorite silhouettes and elaborated on them, making a few variations on each.
I'm not happy with any of the legs, I'll have to look at what other people have done.

This was by far the longest phase yet.

Arnesaurus

I followed Arne Niklas Jannson's process tutorial yesterday. How did I not think of this before?
Using greys for the line and the shadow layers made me wonder if there would be a difference whether I used warm or cool greys. Turns out the final rendering has a much bigger impact.
